NFG TUNING / SERVICE NETWORK
Frequently asked questions
Answers about services, appointments, files, accounts, dealers, purchases and privacy.
What information should I submit?+
Provide the year, make, model, engine, VIN when requested, ECU part number, current symptoms, desired service and any original read or diagnostic report.
How long does ECM patching take?+
Most prepared patching sessions are scheduled for 15–30 minutes. Recovery or unusual software versions may require more time.
How long does truck tuning take?+
A standard single-truck remote session is scheduled for 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Complex diagnostics, recovery or connection problems can extend the job.
Is an appointment automatically confirmed?+
No. Your requested time becomes confirmed only after NFG reviews availability and the job requirements.
Do I need to pay before service?+
NFG may require full payment or a deposit before work begins. The checkout or invoice will show the amount before you authorize payment.
Can every ECU be tuned or programmed?+
No. Support depends on exact hardware, software, vehicle configuration, condition of the ECU and available access methods. NFG confirms compatibility before final service.
Can NFG modify emissions systems?+
NFG provides lawful diagnostics, repair, programming and calibration services. NFG does not knowingly offer defeat devices or work intended to disable required emissions controls.
Are my uploaded files private?+
Files are restricted to authorized account users, the assigned dealer when applicable and NFG personnel working on the job. They are not public marketplace content.
How long are downloads available?+
Download expiration varies by job and file type. The portal shows the expiration date for files NFG makes available. Customers should keep their own secure backup.
Do you sell or share personal information?+
No. NFG Tuning does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Limited service providers may process data only to operate services such as payments, hosting, communications, security and shipping.
How can I request my data or deletion?+
Email support@nfgtuning.com. NFG may verify your identity and may retain records required for transactions, security, disputes, warranties or legal compliance.
What information is public in the marketplace?+
Approved product descriptions, images, seller display names, prices, availability and shipping and return terms are public. Sellers must keep private contact and customer information out of their listing text and photos.
How do returns and marketplace disputes work?+
Review the seller-specific terms before purchase. Contact NFG with the inquiry or invoice number, reason and supporting documents.
How do I become a dealer?+
Select mobile mechanic, single shop or multiple shops. Provide your business name, contact details, each shop address or mobile service area, and every device with its master, slave or standalone setup. NFG reviews the application before approval; publishing a dealer profile is a separate owner action.
Does NFG Assist provide final technical instructions?+
No. NFG Assist retrieves published NFG service information and can provide AI summaries when configured and selected. An authorized NFG technician must review technical service decisions.
Can I opt out of marketing messages?+
Yes. Use the unsubscribe link in marketing email or reply STOP to supported marketing texts. Essential transaction and security notices may still be sent where permitted.
Is the website accessible?+
NFG aims to provide an accessible experience. Report an accessibility barrier by calling +1 (720) 829-7947 or emailing support@nfgtuning.com.
