NFG TUNING / SERVICE NETWORK

NFG policies

Service, payment, marketplace and communication rules for customers, dealers and authorized users.

Current policiesApplies to the NFG Tuning website, portal, services and marketplace

Service authorization & legal use

You confirm that you are legally authorized to request the service. NFG does not require ownership information or ownership documents as part of the standard service submission.

NFG provides lawful diagnostics, programming, calibration and repair support. NFG will not knowingly provide, market or install defeat devices or perform work intended to bypass, defeat or render required emissions-control equipment inoperative. Customers must comply with federal, state, local and applicable international laws.

Payments, deposits & billing

Payment or an approved deposit may be required before service begins. By submitting payment, you authorize the stated charge, applicable taxes and separately approved additional work. Dealer credit and custom pricing depend on account status and written program terms.

Contact support@nfgtuning.com before starting a chargeback so NFG can review billing errors, incomplete service or unauthorized charges.

Appointments, cancellation & readiness

Requests are not confirmed until accepted. ECM patching is normally scheduled for 15–30 minutes and truck tuning for 30–60 minutes, but actual time depends on the ECU, connection, file condition and complexity.

Customers must provide stable power, correct interfaces and cables, reliable internet and safe vehicle access. Late, missed or unprepared sessions may be rescheduled. Any cancellation fee will be disclosed before booking confirmation.

Files, revisions & retention

Keep an independent backup of every original file. NFG may store originals, modified files, checksums, logs and job documents for delivery, warranty, security and recordkeeping. Download links may expire. Retention varies by record type, legal obligation and active dispute; eligible deletion requests may be sent to support@nfgtuning.com.

Files must not contain malware, stolen data, unauthorized personal information or content violating intellectual-property rights. NFG may quarantine unsafe files.

Warranty & service limitations

Any service warranty or included revision is limited to the written order scope. Hardware changes, software updates, vehicle changes, third-party work or incorrect customer information may require a new service. NFG does not promise a particular horsepower, fuel-economy result or uninterrupted operation unless stated in a signed agreement.

Marketplace, shipping & returns

Sellers must provide accurate listings, lawful products, inventory status, shipping terms and return conditions. Published listings show product descriptions, images, seller display names, prices, availability and shipping and return terms. Keep private contact and customer information out of listing text and photos.

Seller-specific shipping, warranty and return terms must appear before purchase. Used equipment, licenses, digital products, special orders and opened electronics may have different return eligibility. Disputes require an order number and supporting evidence.

Shop & towing employment

Shops and towing companies may submit custom employment openings for NFG review. Employers must be authorized to recruit for the named business and provide accurate duties, requirements, location, schedule, pay range and benefits. Follow applicable employment, pay-transparency and nondiscrimination requirements. NFG publication review does not guarantee employment or verify every employer claim.

Public postings show the employer name, city, state, ZIP and reviewed job details. Keep exact addresses, phone numbers and emails out of public descriptions. Applications share the applicant’s account name, email and message privately with the posting employer and NFG administrators. Apply only with information relevant to the position; do not include identity documents, payment information or sensitive personal records. NFG does not sell personal information.

Dealer standards

Applications must identify a mobile mechanic business, a single shop or multiple shops, list each shop or mobile service area, and name the available equipment and each device’s master, slave or standalone setup. NFG reviews applications before approval. Approval does not automatically publish a location.

Dealer applications require truthful information and may require approved equipment, training and verification. Dealers must protect customer data, follow pricing and listing rules, maintain authorization records and obey applicable laws. NFG may pause listings or access for fraud, safety risks, nonpayment, policy violations or unlawful activity.

NFG Assist

NFG Assist retrieves published service information. If AI summaries are enabled, signed-in customers may choose to send their current question and relevant public NFG information to OpenAI for a generated reply. Keep private account details and files in your secure portal. Chat does not book appointments, authorize payments or send a message to a technician.

Chat questions are not added to your service history. Technical decisions and final compatibility require an authorized technician. Open a service request to get a recorded response from the team.

ECU-label identification

If you choose AI photo identification, the selected ECU-label image is sent to OpenAI with your consent to extract the manufacturer, ECU family and part number. Review and confirm the extracted identifiers before using them in a service request. Crop out personal information before submitting. AI recognition can be wrong; review the label and have NFG confirm exact compatibility before service.

Electronic communications

Transactional messages may cover appointments, security, jobs, payments, downloads and orders. Marketing email or texts require applicable consent. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchase. Users may unsubscribe from email or reply STOP to supported marketing texts; essential account notices may continue where permitted.

Acceptable use

Users may not attempt unauthorized access, share credentials, scrape protected data, disrupt the service, upload malicious code, misrepresent ownership, commit fraud, abuse others or use NFG systems unlawfully. NFG may preserve evidence and respond to lawful requests.
